Chintamani's kahaani...

This blog is purely an art of reality and writer's interpretation. Any part viz. story, dance, screenplay resembling any person living or dead, any person etc., etc., is purely not coincidental and intentional"

Discussion started with the Violin classes being held at office. General opinion was tht one had to learn all these things while a kid. Thts when Chintamani said, his parents had opinion tht the ROI(Return On Investment) on such activities was assumed to be less and they always showed him the best way to invest time was in books and gettin the highest marks.

mam,
What chintamani said is very much true for Indians.
Is there any farmer in India want their child to become a farmer. (90% will say No).
Parents restrict their chile to be Doc, Engr, CA, CS etc. Who want their child to be Pandit Jasraj, Zakir Husain.
Though the current trend of reality shows brings up many talents it is all useless.Have you ever noticed what is happening to loosers of the show , they struggle for survival

So the best way parents want their kid to be in safer region is to be in books and have a safe career be in a safer land.

That is the Indian Mentality while in US it is totally different.
well comment is going to long..

Nicely stated...
